We are seeking a motivated, team orientated, Textile Designer to be part of our design team for everyday wear.
We have a fantastic team who work collaboratively and the focus of this role is on coming up with new, innovative and popular repeat print textile designs for our products
You must enjoy working as part of a team, however be able to work autonomously also. You must have creative flair, suitable for the consumer retail industry, research trends, with a strong attention to detail and be able to manage multiple tasks.
Most of all – you must have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and a good eye for colour.
Working closely with other designers, graphics, marketing and Brand Managers you will be heavily focused on creating innovative designs suitable for our brands, while being on trend. We sell mass market products across all demographics into major department stores and retail chain stores.
We are looking for someone that has a demonstrated background in:
· Qualifications in Textile and Fashion design
· Solid portfolio of textile print design
· Strong understanding of print requirements
· Proficient in Adobe
The role is a full time role and we are happy to consider anyone from a recent grad to an experienced Textile Designer as long as you have the right attitude and a great sense of trends and colour.
We are not near public transport so if you don't live locally then access is relatively easy with a car as we are close to Eastlink and the Monash Freeway.
