How will you make an impact
The Theatre Booking Officer performs activities and duties within the theatre area alongside liaising on a daily basis with surgeons private rooms in order to ensure the surgical lists are appropriately prepared for theatre. The clerical staff are required to be flexible and adaptable as they will be working in a busy and fast-paced environment while ensuring a high standard of service for our patients, visitors and staff within the framework of the Mission and Values of Cabrini.
Key Capabilities
Proficiency in Patient administration software (PAS) preferred, but not essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Exceptional attention to detail
Excellent communication and telephone technique
Excellent organisational, time management and prioritising skills
Ability to work efficiently, autonomously and respectfully within the team
Excellent customer service skills
Sound knowledge of medical jargon
Ability to problem solve
Able to work independently as well as in a team
