The Queensland Eye Institute has a fantastic opportunity for a professional and motivated Theatre Bookings Officer to join their busy specialist medical practice. The main function of the role will be to assist patients with their Theatre Bookings and generate theatre lists for the hospital.
Maintaining a mature work ethic, you will be first point of contact for doctors and patients and will be required to provide a high level of service to internal and external patients.
Your primary duties will include but are not limited to the following:
- Provide assistance with Theatre Bookings and completion of necessary paperwork
- Liase with external hospitals and VMO's
- Process and accept Pre Payments for theatre
- Generate theatre lists
- Complete IFC's for patients
- Liase with Health Funds for patient eligibility
- Answering incoming phone calls
- Welcoming patients into the clinic
- Communicate theatre times with patients
The QLD Eye Institute is seeking a highly motivated and professional individual who will possess the following:
- Previous reception experience in the medical or specialist industry
- Strong computer skills
- High level of customer service
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Mature work ethic
- Strong organisational skills
- VIP similar experience highly regarded
This role with provide assistance at our clinic at Woolloongabba.
Successful applicants must have previous Medical Receptionist experience or experience in a Specialist Medical Environment. An excellent remuneration package is on offer.
