About the Company

Our client, a leading global supplier of integrated food processing and packaging solutions, is seeking Sheet Metal Fabricator / Qualified Welders with TIG welding experience to join their dynamic team.

Position: TIG Welder Fabricator
Location: Boronia 3155
Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 plus Superannuation
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 2:36 PM

This position will include:

• Material is typically 1.2 to 1.6mm thick.
• Installing and fabricating thin metal sheets used in a variety of applications.
• Selecting, cleaning and preparing
• Cutting marked out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machines
• Shaping and bending metal sections and pipes using hand and machine tools, and by heating and hammering
• Aligning parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instrument
• Assembling and joining metal sections using TIG Welding techniques
• Conducting quality checks upon post job completion

About youTo be successful as the new Metal Fabricator, you will:

• Dedication to fitness and welding excellence
• Overseas experience or Australian qualification with full working rights
• Previous experience in TIG welding and metal fabrication
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to standard work practices
