We are currently seeking Welders / Metal Fabricators to join our Dandenong South team. Afternoon shift, 2.30pm to 11.00pm Monday - Friday. You will be part of a motivated team who work safely and efficiently in our brand-new facility. Remuneration will be based on ability and experience, with capacity for growth.
Duties
- Work in safe and professional manner.
- Follow procedures.
- Read and interpret drawings & documentation.
- Select correct materials for the required task.
- Use of plant and equipment (Forklift, Drill, Bandsaw, Punch, Guillotine, etc.)
- Welding of mild steel and stainless-steel trusses, brackets, and pipework.
- QA of work and sign off.
- Leave work area clean and tidy.
- Assist team members as required.
Essential Skills and experience (only applicants with the following will be considered)
- Trade qualified welder/fabricator or minimum 4 years’ experience.
- Current driver’s license
- Current Forklift license
- Strong commitment towards safety and quality
- Ability to pass a medical and D&A screen.
- Current working rights in Australia
