Located in Cobram, we have been providing our expertise and skills to surrounding areas for 30+ years in the highest quality of metal fabrication and manufacturing.
We are seeking a qualified welder/Metal Fabricator who can provide additional support to our skilled welders and fabrication workshop. You will be working as part of a team with a strong focus on health, safety and support to the company values of quality workmanship.
This full-time position is available for immediate start and involves 38 hours per week and can include overtime as required.
For the correct applicant the offered hourly rate is above the average award requirement.
Successful applicants will have:
- Proven trade qualification as a Welder.
- Stainless Steel - hygienic welding techniques.
- Mild Steel and Aluminium welding.
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, Arc welding.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures.
- Operating welding equipment and ensuring welds meet industry standards.
- Use of workshop plant and equipment.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Valid Whitecard.
- Work independently and accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Able to take instruction and give clear direction to others.
- Candidates with a high-risk license are preferred.
