Mineco has operations throughout NSW, QLD & SA that provide mining services in a wide range of fields incl. equipment operations, road base rock crushing, specialist operator and mining strategy training, engineering/technical services, and equipment maintenance.
Mineco has a position available for an experienced Tilt Tray Driver to showcase their skills and add value to its mining services operations. This is an opportunity to work as part of a team to deliver a quality service to our valued clients throughout the Hunter Valley Region. About the Role:Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the successful applicant will be responsible for operating a Tilt Tray and Crane across our Operations.
You will also be required to assist with stores duties in our Muswellbrook Workshop and the occasional Trades Assistant work. This is a residential role, Monday to Friday shifts with occasional overtime available. The role will be for someone who is motivated, honest, reliable, self-sufficient and really wants to have a go.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Minimum HR licence with previous experience operating Tilt Trays - Essential
- EWP & LF (forklift) High risk work licence - Essential
- CV Vehicle loader crane licence - Desirable
- Loading, securing, and restraining equipment in a safe manner
- Familiar with road transport rules, fatigue rules and load restraint regulations
- Physically fit
- Can work autonomously or as part of a team
- Ability to work away from home occasionally with the potential of an overnight stay
- Assist with stores duties in workshop when there is no driving
- The ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen (order 43 medical)
- Safe driving record and a commitment to maintain a safe work culture (driver history print out to be supplied)
