Team Leader Pools & Facilities
Temporary Full TimeOpportunity - 12 months
38-hour week with a 9-day fortnight
Salary from $53,979.64 to $62,616.84 p.a plus 11% Superannuation
About the Role
The position will lead the staff in performing services associated with Councils Outdoor Swimming Facilities and Centres. You will be required, however not limited to:
Essential Criteria
- Statement of Attainment in Pool Operations and Supervision, Certification of Pool Lifeguard.
- Demonstrated experience in Swimming Centre operations and/or working within an outdoor recreational team in a supervisory position.
- Qualifications and/or sound experience in maintaining pool water quality including knowledge of Department of Health Guidelines and other relevant legislation.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation including WH&S and EEO, standards and guidelines including RLSSA Guidelines for Safe Pool Operations.
- Computer and administrative skills, including the ability to operate point of sale, booking systems, ability to prepare staff rosters.
- Experience in planning, communicating and coordinating resources for daily work requirements of team, motivating team and delegating responsibilities, and problem solving.
- Demonstrated ability to provide team members with fair and consistent feedback and apply coaching and mentoring skills to enhance individual and team performance.
- Current Class C Drivers Licence.
