AddressPrecise Truss, operating for over 35 years, seeks a skilled Floor & Truss Designer to join our team in Dandenong. This role involves the design of floor and roof trusses with clients and builders.
Responsibilities:
- Design roof trusses and floor trusses using Mitek 20/20 software creating layouts.
- Ensure designs meet relevant standards and Codes of Practice.
- Develop designs suitable for manufacturing.
- Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors throughout planning and construction stages.
- Address any discrepancies, changes, or corrections as needed.
Essential Skills:
- Proficient in designing timber roof trusses using MiTek’s 20/20 engineering software.
- Able to read and understand building and architectural designs.
- Strong mathematical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills with customers, architects, and engineers.
