Oneway constructions is a reputable plasterboard fit-out and Cladding company. We have over 16 years' experience with several tier one and tier two commercial builders on medium to high rise projects across Victoria. We have over 150 employees working on multiple job sites with potentials to grow even further. We are looking for one estimator and one project/contract coordinator to join our estimating team.
Role and Responsibility of Estimator/Project Coordinator
- Prepare takeoff and project quotations
- Present to Senior Estimator and Director about pricing
- Liaise with internal and external parties such as foremen, builders and suppliers
- Prepare and manage pre-start project documents, such as partition/ceiling system design document, material submission and approval, etc.
- Coordinate with site queries and response to RFI and RFQ from all parties
- Price and follow-up with project variations
Skills and experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience on commercial plastering and Cladding projects.
- Skills with Microsoft (Excel/Word) is compulsory
- Skills with CostX and Buildsoft is highly advantageous
- Bill of Quantities/Material Takeoff
- Solid knowledge about partition/ceiling system in compliance with NCC and Australian Standards
- Solid knowledge about architectural drawings and engineering reports
- Outstanding time management, problem solving skills
- Can-do attitude and attention to details
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly motivated and High level of interpersonal skills
