Address We have up to 100 positions available for Mill Hand workers on Timber Mill in Tiaro/Maryborough QLD.
Work is due to start Early to Mid-October 2024 and is expected to go for up to 9 months, with various intake till September 2025.
You will be paid as a Level 1, Casual Employee under the Timber Industry Award 2020 (MA000071). Hourly Paid Rate.
There may be an opportunity to undertake training and upskilling in this role, which can allow your remuneration to increase as per the levels in the Timber Industry Award
The position is for a Mill Hand worker on a Timber Mill and will include but not limited to duties associated with sorting timber products according to grade markings and size.
This position requires the availability for 5 days a week Monday to Friday.
Minimum of 38 hours a week, 6.30am-3.30pm though at times this may change due to the seasonal needs of the business.
Please note that random drug & alcohol testing may be conducted.
