Overwatch Traffic Services Pty Ltd is a wholly-owned Western Australian Traffic Management business. First established in 2017, we have grown to almost 200 employees and now occupy our own depot in Bayswater, where we have a fleet of over 140 work vehicles and equipment. We have carried out works across Western Australia, from the Pilbara to Kalgoorlie, and all within and around Metro Perth.

Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Load and unload vehicles with signage & equipment.
- Set up worksites with signage and equipment as specified in the TGS documents, and implement and monitor the on-site operation of Traffic Management Plans to all required safety and quality standards.
- For TMA Operators, drive a Truck Mounted Attenuator (TMA) when required.
- Lead teams of TCs and fairly delegate tasks, providing direction to the group to ensure worksites are run effectively and efficiently.
- Monitor traffic behaviour and control traffic flow, as well as flow of pedestrians and cyclists, to ensure the safety of maintenance workers, on-site work crews and members of the public at all times.
- Use Stop/Slow signage and/or Stop Slow Bats to control traffic.
- Use a two-way radio to effectively communicate and coordinate with team members.
- Accurately carry out instructions received from the Operations Manager, Schedulers, On-Site Foremen, Inspectors and Auditors.
- Complete and submit all required documentation while on worksites, including Daily Diaries, SWMS documents, dockets, Pre-Start Checks, etc.
- Complete and submit any relevant paperwork for job-sites, including safety inductions, as required.
- Perform all tasks associated with Traffic Management for Metro and Regional job sites and events.
- Complete site hazard assessments and check for suitability of control measures for the job site.
- Promptly report any on-site hazards and/or near misses.
- Use the Traffic Management Scheduling system – Traffio – to submit forms and dockets, as required.
Required Skills & Qualities
- Current BWTM & TC (minimum required), and WTM and/or AWTM Accreditation.
- Current WA Driver’s License.
- For TMA Operators, a TMA accreditation.
- Excellent communication.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Enthusiastic, reliable and willing to help out where able.
- Previous experience in Traffic Management, Team Leading and/or the Construction Industry will be highly regarded.
- Qualifications such as a current First Aid Qualification, or additional skills, such as mechanical aptitude, will be highly regarded.
- ANY current inductions (for example: Water Corporation, Western Power, etc), will be highly regarded.
