Our company is a leading Manufacturing company based in the northern suburbs of Melbourne seeking an experienced, reliable and capable Full Time qualified Tool Maker with experience in the Forging Industry would be an advantage. 

Duties include:

• Vertical boring
• Horizontal boring
• Turning
• lathe
• Milling
• Radial drill, slotter
• Forklift license would be beneficial (but not necessary)
• NC Programming will be an advantage but not necessary)
• Other duties as required.

The successful applicant will:

• Adhere to all OH&S and standard work procedures.
• Must be able to interpret Engineering Drawings and manufacture with precision.
• Adjust and modify jigs and fixtures to suite different jobs.
• Possess good attention to detail.
• Be able to work in a team environment.
• Be punctual and reliable.
• Work overtime when required.
• Have their own transport to and from work.
• Proven experience working unsupervised using common sense and initiative.
• Good aptitude in using all specific hand tools.
• Basic welding experience essential
• Continuously explore opportunities for improvement
• Maintain high housekeeping standards within personal work area.
