Form of work Atlas Tooling Pty Ltd are ISO 9001 qualified and conduct general engineering, precision machining with large capacity and manufacturing of precision tools, moulds, jigs and fixtures.
The Tool Maker applicant must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience demonstrate knowledge and ability to work with engineering drawing, manufacture components for moulds, press tools, Jigs and Fixtures and assemble them. Ability to work on all conventional machines within the workplace.
Skill requirements:
•Experience in interpretation of engineering drawings
•Knowledge to manufacture, provide maintenance and repair moulds, press tools, jigs and fixtures at the required standard and conduct
quality control checks
•Measure and check the accuracy of machined parts to the tolerances as specified
•Overhead gantry crane training is an advantage
•Ability to work on all conventional machines in the shop floor, which include: lathe, milling, surface grinding and tool and cutter grinding
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•Co-operate with all health and safety policies and procedures of the Company
•Motivated positive attitude
Working Hours:
The standard working hours at Atlas Tooling are 7:30am - 4pm.
