Salary - $200K package plus $15K bonus, plus benefits
An exciting new opportunity within the AWS Platform Engineering team; Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer - AWS. This role plays an important part in Cloud design, development and maintenance of technical solutions on the AWSpublic cloud.
Reporting to Head of AWS Engineering based in Melbourne.
Your key responsibilities may include:
- Demonstrable ability and knowledge in one or more of automation and orchestration products/platforms like Puppet, Terraform, Ansible etc.
- Development experience scripting languages such as Terraform, Bash/Shell, Ruby, JSON, Python etc.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and supporting technology.
- Accountable for Azure architecture styles, design principles, cloud design patterns, security and compliance automation, automated provisioning, and deployments.
- Design, build, automation of AWS and IaaS services security, whilst adhering to company costs.
- The ability to problem solving and troubleshooting across multiple models (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS)
- Apply Lean and Cloud Design Thinking principles to solve problems.
- Lead the build, deployment, and operations of automated Azure enabled application environments, patterns, tools, and platforms.
- Coaching and mentoring team in delivery including mentoring junior members of staff.
- Liaise with executive and senior stakeholders (Architecture, Security and Operations) and Suppliers.
- Apply Agile frameworks, techniques, and processes to deliver value to the business.
