Regional Support is provided from our offices in Subiaco and Melbourne.Join us and unearth your potential in a global company that is at the forefront of shaping the future of the mining industry.Our OpportunityIn alignment with the Global Total Rewards strategy, the Total Rewards Lead is responsible for managing and executing the Total Rewards strategy for PNG with a focus on Remuneration, and Benefits.You will drive the employee value proposition beyond just remuneration and look at Total Rewards. This role will develop, implement, communicate and administer Total Rewards programs within the Business Unit (BU).Ultimately, this role is responsible to ensure we offer competitive remuneration and benefits programs in the PNG BU and deliver them effectively and efficiently.Key Accountabilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for researching, establishing and maintaining remuneration systems that enable the organization to attract and retain talent within the Region.
- Ensure that all compensation programs are developed and administered in a fair, objective and equitable manner in alignment with company values and comply with legal regulations.
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for the region in all aspects associate with Remunerations, and play an essential role advising and educating managers regarding the Global Total Rewards strategy and pay practices.
- Responsible for managing Newmont PNG benefits offerings in alignment to the global benefit strategy and maintaining relationship with vendors, to ensure providers are meeting the terms of Service Level Agreements, KPI's etc. This includes providers such as Medical Insurance, Superannuation, Salary Continuance, Novated leases, among others.
- Build, develop and provide leadership to the Total Rewards team in line with Newmont's policies and systems (e.g. performance management) in order to achieve business goals.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or Business/Economics related discipline
- Experience in HR information system solutions, preferably in SAP, Success Factors
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Proactive approach to problem identification and resolution
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
