Due to the continued growth of our company, we are looking for a new casual team member to focus on the area of Business Development.
At Aria Cruises, we offer a variety of sailing options to suit everyone. It is our priority to maintain the highest standard of service, exceed expectations and continually update our knowledge of the marine tourism industry, locations, and create a welcoming and inviting atmosphere for all.
The position requires a variety of tasks including but not limited to sales, marketing, administration, copywriting, and event planning. The purpose of the role is to ensure our services are presented across various key areas to advance and expand the reach, and professional image of our company resulting in increased sales.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implementation of new products and marketing promotions
- Building relationships with agents, booking partners and industry bodies
- Event planning and market research
- Administration tasks and copywriting
- Create, update and management of content and product listings
- Online brand management
- Managing online cyber security
- Record keeping
- Understanding and implementation of Company Terms & Conditions
- Other varies tasks as required
We are looking for someone who can work well individually as well as collaboratively and can show initiative and identify opportunities or tasks that require attention in addition to any directed tasks. The ideal candidate will be flexible with the varying amount of hours of work required due to seasonal changes and other operational factors.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience and working knowledge of Fareharbor booking software
- Ability to work with various online systems such as ATDW and Mailchimp
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Time management and organisational skills
- Able to manage a changing workloads
- Ability to adapt to changes in a fast pasted working environment
- Knowledge of the tourism industry and work experience is essential for this role
