Your new role
In your role as Town Planner, you'll actively participate in diverse projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Your tasks encompass managing fee proposals, overseeing various projects, and maintaining client engagement. You'll also be responsible for preparing town planning reports, including Statements of Environmental Effects, Environmental Impact Statements, and Planning Proposals. Furthermore, you'll have the opportunity to enhance your skills by working closely with experts in economics, urban design, and community engagement.
What you'll need to succeed
A tertiary qualification in Planning or related degree/discipline.
2+ years of urban planning experience within consultancy or state/local government.
Well-developed organizational and time management skills, with a flexible and positive attitude.
Knowledge of the NSW planning framework.
Well-versed communication skills, and the ability to build rapport with clients and other project team members.
Excellent writing skills, who can draft efficiently, write accurate and comprehensive reports and prepare external correspondence.
