Your new role
Inyour role as Town Planner, you’ll actively participate in diverse projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Your tasks encompass managing feeproposals, overseeing various projects, and maintaining client engagement.You’ll also be responsible for preparing town planning reports, includingStatements of Environmental Effects, Environmental Impact Statements, andPlanning Proposals. Furthermore, you’ll have the opportunity to enhance yourskills by working closely with experts in economics, urban design, andcommunity engagement.
What you'll need to succeed
- Atertiary qualification in Planning or related degree/discipline.
- 2+ yearsof urban planning experience within consultancy or state/local government.
- Well-developedorganizational and time management skills, with a flexible and positiveattitude.
- Knowledgeof the NSW planning framework.
- Well-versedcommunication skills, and the ability to build rapport with clients and otherproject team members.
- Excellentwriting skills, who can draft efficiently, write accurate and comprehensivereports and prepare external correspondence.
