We are seeking a casual Tractor Operator for our upcoming Baling season across various farms within Queensland to support our Manufacturing Operations based in Childers, Queensland.

Our in-field baling team is an external facing role within our organisation working with carious farmers and producers to bale up farming by-products and feed grasses. With our team needing to work as far as North Queensland this exciting opportunity may see the successful person travel with their new role.

The role entails:

• Setting up tractors and various implements for operation each shift
• Pre-start and operation of machinery and the understanding of adjustments as needed to improve infield performance.
• Troubleshooting issues and perform maintenance as needed.
• Operate machinery and equipment according to instruction, manual and training.
• Perform quality control, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures.
• Comply with all safety and health regulations.
• Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in work area.

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience as a Tractor Operator desirable.
• Experience with balers advantageous.
• Must have a valid driver's license with proof of driving record provided.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
• Detail orientated.
• Ability to follow instructions (Oral and written)
• Capable of working outdoors and in various weather conditions
• Manual labour which involves heavy lifting
• Ability to work Shift work as needed.
• Must be willing to travel across Queensland.
