We are looking for a Tractor Operator to join our growing Good Spaces team based in Sunshine West, but operating throughout greater Melbourne, maintaining vegetation on roadside and other public land and private propeties.

Starting and finishing each shift at the Sunshine West warehouse,
- The Tractor Operator will transport a tractor with the appropriate cutting rig to the day’s location (either by flat-bed truck, or for local jobs, by driving the tractor itself) and undertake mowing.
- There may also be the need to remove materials from the roadside to avoid creating litter, or to prevent damage to the tractor or cutters.
- Spraying of roadside verges may also be required, in addition to use of brushcutters, hand-mowers etc.
- Throughout all work, adherence to VicRoads safety protocols is mandatory.
Work duration:
This is a full time role, Mon - Fri (7am-3pm) . The salary is based upon your level of experience with the various equipment listed above, and qualifications, generally from $36-$38 per hour.
Good Cycles is a registered charity, and so you can salary sacrifice providing a greater rate of take-home-pay per year - up to around $75,088 above a standard taxed wage (depending upon your preferences).

- ACUP or Chemical User’s Accreditation (Desirable)
- DM Roads (Downer) Induction Accredition (Preferred)
- Work eligibility for Victoria, Australia (Visa, residency, citizenship, etc)
