Trades Assistant - Electrical

About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and self-motivated Trades Assistant to utilise their talents & join our team in Campbellfield. This position is 5 days per week, Monday to Friday working 6.30am to 2.30pm.
Duties and Responsibilities
The main responsibilities for this position are:

• Mechanical and Electrical Assembly of automated gate equipment and boom gates which are assemble in small runs
• Controller & PLC wiring
• Using hand tools
• Technical repairs of operating equipment
• Some manual handling tasks

Skills and Experience

• The ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
• Work as a proactive team member in a small team environment
• Understanding of Safe work practices and working in a safe manner at all times
• A fork lift licence will be well regarded – but this is not mandatory
• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar environment and have a willingness to learn and work towards continuous improvement
