The role:
As a Trade Assistant in our Plant, People and Logistics team, you will aid our Maintenance department with trade related duties working on and around mobile plant and equipment.
Your every day:
- Basic machine servicing, compliance checks and inspections
- Day to day workshop tasks
- Upholding a strong safety culture - regularly assisting in providing safety checks and inspections
- Assisting in troubleshooting where possible
- Liaising and keeping open lines of communication with relevant stakeholders
- Keeping the site as clean as possible - regularly cleaning equipment, plant and machinery as well as keeping workshops and sheds tidy and risk free
Who are you?
- Have relevant tickets and licenses
- Strong safety sense with knowledge of basic workplace practices
- Excellent communicator
- Current white card
- Knowledge of use around basic hand & power tools
- Knowledge and basic exposure to plant & machinery
- Basic computer/Tablet skills an advantage
- Transport to and from our workshop
