Due to undergoing exponential growth in our client base, we are excited to be seeking highly motivated and passionate Trade Assistants who are willing to become pivotal team members in service, maintenance and projects helping set up daily sites through to delivery and handover of site works and projects.
You will play a crucial role in supporting the maintenance and projects department ensuring the smooth operation of our clients needs as well as working on exciting state of the art workshop fit outs. Your skills, technical experience and aptitude to learn continuously, being able to follow instruction and work autonomously once given direction will be key to your success. Your exceptional skills, positive attitude, and passion for excellence will make you an invaluable asset to our organisation.
The roles requirements are following responsibilities but not limited to:
- Prepare site daily for technicians to begin work without impediments.
- Use hand tools and power tools to allow technicians to complete specialised work
- View machine manuals and installation guides to help install equipment
- Drive a truck (on a car licence) for asset pick up and drop off. Ability to use a crane on the truck would be beneficial
- Load and unload trucks and vehicles as required
- Access client sites and deliver items prior to works starting
- Final clean up of site and new machinery prior to hand over
- Stock checks and stock ordering to ensure all parts for projects are ready
- Facilitating site training on TWSA software and delivered equipment
- Ensure products are maintained in accordance with engineering designs, contract spec
- Maintain warehouse space cleanliness organisation
- ADHOC duties as required
Desired Profile:
- Previous experience in a fast pace Maintenance, mechanical or trade role a must
- A Heavy Vehicle truck licence would be desirable but not required
- Forklift licence Required
- Self-motivated with a ‘can do’ and reliable attitude.
- Ability to work autonomously
- Ability to problem solve and offer thought provoked solutions potentially not in parts lists manuals
- High attention to detail
- Strong work ethic
- Well-presented and professional in appearance.
