What you will do in the role

Primary

• Working as part of a team on the Trade Counter serving customers, inbound/outbound phone calls, actioning emails
• Achieve/Exceed Trade Counter customer sales targets
• Assist to maintain inventory levels in the branch warehouse to drive Trade Counter business growth
• Working as part of a team on the Trade Counter serving customers, inbound/outbound phone calls, actioning emails 
• Assist in management of the ACT Email Inbox & Call Queues
• Implement process efficiencies to provide a greater customer experience
• Office is based in Fyshwick

General

• Provide excellent customer service to all Trade Counter customers.
• Maintain inventory levels in the local branch warehouse to encourage business growth.
• Provide support to colleagues in a team environment 
• Develop and maintain strong product & process knowledge of all Dicker DAS Vendors.
• Acquire and maintain vendor Sales Certifications as required 
• Always present a professional image to Customers and Vendors
• Maintain the integrity of the Trade Warehouse and Storefront.
• Take all reasonably practicable steps to maintain the health and safety of yourself and others, and to minimise risks.
• Follow Dicker Data’s policies, procedures, and reasonable instructions at all times

What you will need to succeed in the role

• Industry experience is preferred (installation/distributions/sales etc.)
• Professional communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills 
• Excellent relationship building skills 
• Excellent attention to detail 
• Ability to provide sales advice for a range of products and services 
• Ability to manage and resolve customer issues and complaints 
• Ability to work well in a team as well as autonomously 
• Intermediate MS Office proficiency
