What you will do in the role
Primary
- Working as part of a team on the Trade Counter serving customers, inbound/outbound phone calls, actioning emails
- Achieve/Exceed Trade Counter customer sales targets
- Assist to maintain inventory levels in the branch warehouse to drive Trade Counter business growth
- Working as part of a team on the Trade Counter serving customers, inbound/outbound phone calls, actioning emails
- Assist in management of the ACT Email Inbox & Call Queues
- Implement process efficiencies to provide a greater customer experience
- Office is based in Fyshwick
General
- Provide excellent customer service to all Trade Counter customers.
- Maintain inventory levels in the local branch warehouse to encourage business growth.
- Provide support to colleagues in a team environment
- Develop and maintain strong product & process knowledge of all Dicker DAS Vendors.
- Acquire and maintain vendor Sales Certifications as required
- Always present a professional image to Customers and Vendors
- Maintain the integrity of the Trade Warehouse and Storefront.
- Take all reasonably practicable steps to maintain the health and safety of yourself and others, and to minimise risks.
- Follow Dicker Data’s policies, procedures, and reasonable instructions at all times
What you will need to succeed in the role
- Industry experience is preferred (installation/distributions/sales etc.)
- Professional communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to provide sales advice for a range of products and services
- Ability to manage and resolve customer issues and complaints
- Ability to work well in a team as well as autonomously
- Intermediate MS Office proficiency
