TRADE COUNTER SALES
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Customer Service driven individual to work in our Trade Counter/Customer Service Team who will play a vital role in daily operational activities that support the company's continued growth and success. This role entails various responsibilities, including trade sales and service, order entry and dispatch, stock control, and enhancing the overall quality of customer service.
Key Accountabilities
- Execute day to day tasks, to enable a smooth and efficient experience for our customers.
- Assist the GM in the monitoring and the evaluating supplier performance, procedures and production costs.
- Maintain communication with customers, suppliers, and government representative to align with business objectives.
- Collaborate with the GM and Technical Product Manager (TPM) in pricing projects and product development.
- Handle general phone and email inquiries.
- Receive, enter, and confirm orders and quotations.
- Manage order dispatch both directly and indirectly.
- Continuously monitor stock levels and plan for expected projects and orders.
- Contribute to a positive and proactive team environment by assisting other team members as needed.
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and integrity standards, especially when dealing with high-level security organizations, government agencies, and departments.
What you need to succeed:
- Preference experience in Architectural Hardware, Locksmithing or Electronic Security supply industries.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a commitment to achieving positive outcomes.
- Strong communication skills across all levels of business and government departments, with a customer service focus.
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with customers and suppliers.
- High level of computer literacy, including MS Word and Excel.
- Effective time management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workloads.
- Current driver's license
