Successful Engineering Company based in the south East suburbs, specialising in the design and manufacture of Automation equipment has been in business for over 50 years and now has a vacancy for a fitter / Machine Builder.
- This is a new position that will involve various tasks.
- It is necessary to be flexible with skills and be willing to move around the section to keep up with demand.
- Everyone within the workshop works as a team and most people are multi-skilled.
- Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) being responsible for building and assembling special purpose machines.
- You will be doing general fitting, some minor welding, and of course using variety of hand tools. ideally you will have a strong back ground in machine Building.
- This is a great opportunity to join a very successful engineering and manufacturing company with a very well established history.
TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:
- Trade qualifications.
- Machine build experience.
- Fitting background.
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
