What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Head of Sales & Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, and online travel agents.
Your primary objective will be to drive sales growth by promoting MONOPOLY DREAMS Melbourne to international markets, fostering collaborations, and developing effective sales strategies.
This role requires a dynamic individual with excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of the tourism market, and a proven track record in sales.
The primary job duties for the role include:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, and other trade partners.
- Act as the main point of contact for trade partners, addressing inquiries, providing information, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective sales strategies targeting trade partners.
- Identify new business opportunities and markets to expand the company's presence in the tourism sector.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of the company's tourism products, services, and destinations.
- Provide training and support to trade partners on product knowledge, ensuring accurate representation in the market.
- Conduct compelling presentations to trade partners, showcasing the unique selling points of MONOPOLY DREAMS Melbourne.
- Work with the Head of Sales & Marketing to negotiate and finalise contracts, pricing, and terms to maximize sales and profitability.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands.
- Analyse market data to identify opportunities and challenges, adjusting sales strategies accordingly.
- Work closely with the marketing, operations, and customer service teams to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of services to trade partners.
- Prepare regular sales reports, detailing key performance indicators and achievements.
- Analyse sales data to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and recommend improvements.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance visibility and build relationships.
