The Opportunity

Working within the sales and business development team, the Doors and MouldingsSales Supervisor is the pivotal point in coordinating and owning the relationship between our clients and Australian Moulding & Door Company. 

You will lead by example, this is a hands on role where you will be expected to take on both your own sales as well as supervising, driving and developing the rest of the sales team. You will be held responsible for both your own results and that of each team member and the team as a whole.

To excel in this role you must be someone who has years of sales experience in the Australian door industry in either a sales capacity and be ready to take the next step as a Sales Supervisor, or, someone from a door sales background in a Sales Supervisory or sales management position.

You will be actively engaged with the General Manager, Marketing Manager, Finance Manager, Production Managers other supervisors and the CEO in the development of sales strategy, offering solutions as well as the actual implementations of support to the Sales Team to retain existing accounts and secure new opportunities profitably and above budget all while exceeding your own sales budgets and ensuring the team does the same

In this role you will:

• Build and improve relationships with clients and partners (retail, Trade, Wholesale and Commercial)
• Take on an existing core of predominantly trade based, wholesale and commercial clients but be prepared to engage with our retail clients.
• Create strategies and work with clients and the team to boost sales & purchase quantities to exceed their expectations
• Identify potential opportunities for increased service offering and increasing revenue, profitability and excellence in customer service
• Work and co-ordinate, with internal departments, to ensure Australian Moulding & Door company meets and exceeds clients’ expectations

A typical day will involve meeting with clients to discuss new products or services, resolving client issues, build additional revenue, communicate and co-ordinate with other departments about maximizing client experiences, run and share reporting and provide general sales support across the business and more. 

You are a strong yet responsive and inclusive sales leader that produces high quality results yourself and brings the sales team along the journey to achieve the same.

At this stage we do minimal prospecting and cold calling as we have an enormous number of current and past clients that provide us with many sales opportunities that we need to maximize. We have plenty of past and present clients and opportunities flowing in every day that provide ample opportunities for us for sales excellence.

Full training on any niche products and services will be provided and you will be working from our new state of the art custom built Head office in Bayswater, Melbourne. 

What we're looking for is someone who meets and exceeds these mandatory requirements:

• Someone with a VERY strong technical knowledge around the manufacture and sale of doors for retail, trade, wholesale and or commercial markets (if you know doors you can learn Mouldings easily) – you MUST be strong however with doors for all building applications – experience with fire doors will be highly regarded but not required
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrable ability to build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
• Highly computer literate with extensive experience with the Microsoft suite of office products, a sales CRM and an ERP for quoting and sales management
• A team player who thrives on leading by example - talk is cheap
• Someone who is keenly intuitive to customers’ needs
• You must be highly motivated, self driven, well organized with outstanding time management skills 
• You have to be analytical, conceptual, and innovative with KAIZEN.
• Your stakeholder, management & strong sales skills set you apart
• Demonstrated ability to meet targets, be able to hold yourself and others accountable for results (talk is cheap)
• Experience in Sales / Account Management in B2C, B2G and B2B services
• You will be equally comfortable dealing with members of the general public in our showroom as you will be dealing at a C level 
• Someone who can produce consistent, profitable results both personally and with their team
• Someone who embraces their budgets and KPI’s as the minimum that is expected of you, is able to follow and develop systems, and use good old fashioned common sense
