We are seeking a Trade Assistant to join our fast growing team, to assist in assembling of commercial joinery and office furniture components, operating of some machinery, and packing/dispatching orders. This will be a great opportunity for someone to enhance their current skillset as we offer thorough training on all tasks you will be required to do. While we don't necessarily require someone with experience, you must be a quick learner, good listener and willing to work with others in a high achieving team. The Role
Your role as a Trade Assistant will include the below tasks/requirements:
- Preparing materials for assembly
- Assistance in Manufacturing Joinery, and commercial office components and units.
- Assistant on edge banding
- Assembling of furniture & furniture components
- Checking, cleaning and dispatching of furniture and components
Working hours are from 7:00am – 3:30pm Monday to Thursday and 7:00am – 1:00pm on Friday with optional overtime. We are also open to being flexible with hours.
