About the role
The Mobile Maintenance team is currently seeking a Trades Assistant to join them.
Reporting to the Supervisor Mobile Maintenance, you will be responsible for providing maintaining the mobile maintenance work areas, keeping it cleaned and organised at all times, to assist the maintenance team achieve an efficient and safe operation.
Duties
- Complete TA daily tasks sheet
- Keeping the workshop 5S to a high standard
- Wash, clean and fuel Heavy Machinery pre and post service as required
- Assist in the collection and transport of parts and consumables from the store counter to the workshop bays.
- Assist the serviceman and tradesman in the completion of their duties if required.
- Ensure hydrocarbons waste is collected from each work area and disposed of in the appropriate waste area.
Skills and experience
- Previous experience in a FIFO role
- Current C Class Drivers Licence
- Confined Space, Working at Heights, HR Licence, Dogging/Rigging, Forklift/Telehandler, EWP would be highly regarded but not essential
- Self-motivation, with strong communication skills and with the ability to manage your own time and work unsupervised.
