Our client is currently looking for experienced Trades Assistants, in the area of Carpentry, to join their crew.
Your day will include but not limited to:
- Apply carpentry skills to complete day to day general and planned preventative maintenance, repairs and servicing to building facilities, fixtures and assets, to carry out work to the expected, pre-determined specification
- Utilise work methods and apply effective use of tools and minor plant and equipment to achieve high standards of workmanship and maintain good working order of plant and equipment
- Complete appropriate paperwork (e.g. stores issues, equipment purchases, invoices, work orders, pay sheets, daily diaries, electronic reporting & log books etc) to ensure that accurate records are kept and delivered to appropriate staff within agreed time constraints
- Establish the work site with consideration for site safety and traffic circumstances to ensure the site provides a safe working environment for employees and passing pedestrian and road traffic
- Adapts to and works effectively within a variety of conditions and with various individuals or groups ie assist in other Construction and Maintenance branches to ensure workforce flexibility and delivery of services to the community
To be successful in this role you will have prior experience as a Trades Assistant and hold relevant licences [including a car licence] to perform works.
