Our VLI Conveyors Division, is currently looking to employ an experienced Trades Assistant to join the team in a permanent full-time capacity at our Welshpool location.
You will be part of a small, highly productive team where your multiple skill sets and experience will be highly valued.

Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Assisting Rubber Lining staff where required
- Ensure workshop, storage areas and yard are kept safe, clean and orderly
- Application of rubber lining chemicals to upcoming works
- Correction of workshop hazards
- Transport materials and components to and from work areas
- Use lifting devices such as forklifts and overhead cranes to move loads
- Assist with the maintenance of our work areas and equipment
- Pickup and Deliveries in company vehicle
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:
- Recent experience working as a Trades Assistant
- High commitment to safety
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to maintain a clean and tidy work environment
- Able to use hand tools and be physically fit
- Valid Australian driver’s licence
- Valid forklift ticket
- Overhead crane and rigging experience is advantageous
Should you be successful in this role, you will be required to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test.
