Form of workRMEM Engineering is a large Mechanical and Electrical Company located in Canning Vale, W.A. The company specialises in the overhaul and refurbishment of mechanical and electrical equipment for the mining industry.
This is an opportunity for ONE motivated and experienced Trades Assistant to join our team in Canning Vale with immediate start available. Please note that an Overhead Crane and a Forklift License is Mandatory for this role. If you do not have these, you will not be considered for this role.
To be successful in this role, you will be a highly driven and energetic person who has a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Reporting to the supervisor, key areas of responsibility include
- Sand and prepare parts.
- Use power tools and hand tools.
- Wrap components for dispatch after painting.
- Daily use of Forklifts and Overhead Cranes
- Use of overhead crane for movement of goods through the workshop
- Wash and clean parts in wash bay.
- Clean and buff parts
- Keep the stores clean and free of trip hazards.
- Other TA tasks as directed by Supervisor.
