Perrott Engineering Pty Ltd, is a specialist hydraulic and precision machining business located in Cairns and operating out of two modern premises. We take pride in our work and deliver prompt professional services to our clients.
The successful applicant will have a good work ethic, a desire to be part of a progressive team, with ability to work independently. In return, we offer long-term stability of employment in a modern, well-equipped workshop in Cairns, with a large and interesting variety of work.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be self-motivated and able to work independently or part of a team.
- Hold a current Australian manual drivers’ licence.
- Have a clean Australian Federal Police check history.
Desirable qualities/experience
- Previous work in similar role.
- Preferably have a Forklift licence.
- Previous experience in the engineering industry.
About your new position
- 40 hrs per week, Monday to Friday, 7am to 3.30pm
- Permanent Cairns based position.
- Permanent Hourly Rate of $30-35 plus super.
Regular tasks
- Assisting tradesmen on jobs.
- Load and unload freight deliveries.
- Local pick up and deliveries.
- General workshop cleaning and organising.
- Packaging goods for transport.
