Workfast is looking for a crew of Traffic Controllers to join our team on various rail, civil and construction projects around Brisbane. We have both week and weekend work with plenty of hours and overtime available for the right Traffic Controllers.
What you get
- $35.50 per hour base rate + Super
- Penalty rates for overtime and weekend work
- 8-12 hour shifts
- Join and up and coming traffic control crew
- Projects starting in the next few weeks
What you need
- Traffic control experience
- White card
- Traffic control tickets
- Full drivers licence
- Own transport to get to site
- Flexibility to work OT and weekend shifts
What you will be doing
- Perform all tasks associated with traffic management
- Site clean up and worksite duty
- Travel in different locations
- Use of Stop/Slow Bat to control traffic
- Sound verbal skills with knowledge of 2-way radio
- Implement and monitor operational Traffic Management Plans
- Complete vehicle pre-start checks
- Load and unload vehicles with signage and equipment
- Report on-site hazards and near misses
- Obey instructions from team leaders, foremen, inspectors and auditors
