Our business operates from Service Stations around Australia, and we are currently seeking a Service Technician for our Far North Queensland service run.

If yes, then check this ad out! We are currently seeking an experienced mechanically minded person who will be responsible for conducting preventative maintenance of our trailers on site. In our opinion, it’s the best job in our business.
This person is to be a self-motivated diligent worker with a caring and ethical attitude and be technology literate (know your way around the operations of a browser and app platforms etc).
The role offers a fully equipped service vehicle, to carry out routine maintenance on scheduled service runs. The run covers our Far North Queensland region, and includes Mount Isa, Cairns, Townsville and Bowen. Our successful candidate will be based in or around Townsville. On-site training will be provided, and you will be required to complete all relevant third party and site inductions prior to commencement.
This role is full time (38 hours per week) and requires the successful candidate to be flexible with their working hours. The service run will also include 8 nights (on average) away per month.
Skills and experience:
Advantageous to the role is a strong mechanical ability, have had experience or some knowledge of trailer wiring, brake systems (mechanical and hydraulic), and wheel bearings etc. Ideally you will have previously worked with trailers or caravans and have a trade or trade assistant background. Mig welding experience would be advantageous.
We require our candidate to be proactive, self-disciplined and possess effective communication skills but more importantly be an honest and genuine person.
