THE ROLE
We are looking for an energetic and Can-Do individual to join our team as our full-time Trainee Accountant.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Excellent FULL-TIME entry level position for someone who has recently graduated with an accounting degree or TAFE qualification.
This is a great opportunity to kick start your career and is not suited to having CPA or CA qualifications as this an entry level position.
Training will be provided, giving you an excellent opportunity to learn the operations of a busy dealership within an account’s environment.
As a Trainee accountant you can expect to:
- Costing motor vehicle deals
- Prepare monthly reports of gross & commission.
- Receipt new car manufacturer payments to General Ledger
- Maintain Floorplan and vehicle payouts
- Assist with preparation of management report
- Reconcile various General ledger accounts such as stocks, accessories, factory claims and warranties.
- Assist manager with various Ad hoc tasks

ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Recently graduated from an accounting degree or TAFE.
- Ability to demonstrate a good understanding of accounting concepts.
- Fluent English written & verbal skills.
- Ability to work within timeframes and meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate clearly, respectfully and confidently with managers and staff on all levels.
- Intermediate-Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
