Castlemaine Childcare Co-operative has an opportunity for trainees working towards Certificate 111 or Diploma qualifications to join our team. We can be flexible with contracted hours, depending on the right fit for our team.
Castlemaine Childcare Co-operative is a community-run not-for-profit and has been operating since 1979. We provide meaningful experiences for children from birth through to our funded kindergarten programs.

About the role
- We are seeking enthusiastic trainees Working towards a Certificate 111 or Diploma qualification.
- Working hours negotiable
- Will be supported by a mentor within the team.
- not included in ratios for a period of time to ensure the appropriate learning and skills are developed.
- Opportunity to develop and grow within the team through various professional development opportunities.
Skills and experience
- Is enrolled or plans to be enrolled in a Nationally Recognised Course to obtain an Early Childhood qualification.
- Current Working with Children check.
- Current First Aid qualifications, CPR training, anaphylaxis management training and emergency asthma training or plans to obtain these.
