Alpine Children's Services (ACS) is a not-for-profit community organisation providing high-quality Early Childhood education and care to families in the Alpine Shire. ACS promotes the safety, wellbeing, and inclusion of all children. We offer a warm, engaging workplace in a team environment.
We are seeking energetic and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educators and/or Integration Support Practitioners (multiple positions) to join our team on a casual, permanent part-time or permanent full-time basis. Our services are well-resourced with the highest quality natural furniture and toys. We offer bush play programs and a natural and creative environment where children feel supported, families feel part of a connected community, and we have a team of highly committed educators who are passionate about the early years of a child’s development.
Traineeships
ACS actively supports professional development and offers traineeships in Certificate III and Diploma for the right candidates. We pay you while you learn, with trainers visiting the service. If you do not yet have a qualification in Early Childhood education, and would like to embark on a rewarding career, please apply below.

Wages
Alpine Children's Services offers above award wages, ranging from unqualified (studying towards Certificate III), through Diploma to Bachelor qualifications with annual wage increase
Qualifications & Experience
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
OR an ACECQA-approved education qualification - OR willingness to enrol and complete study in either Cert III or Diploma
- OR Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent)
- Victorian Working with Children Check
Tasks & responsibilities
- implement a quality educational program reflective of the principles, practices, and outcomes in the EYLF and VEYLDF
- Promote the health and safety of children and staff using embedded practices such as supervision, medical management plans, risk management plans, and policies to uphold the health and wellbeing of children and staff
- Actively engage with families and the local community to form collaborative partnerships and implement this into the kindergarten and centre's program
- Critically reflect and contribute to the centre's Quality Improvement Plan based on the National Quality Standards
