About the Role
We have an outstanding opportunity for a reliable individual to join our growing Adelaide team in a hybrid Pest & Hygiene Technician role.
As a Trainee Pest Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Inspecting commercial clients premises thoroughly mainly for general pest services.
- Assist with identifying sales leads for the area.
- Be a team player and have a great attention to detail.
- Develop and maintain long term customer relationships.
- Provide a first-class customer experience.
For the Hygiene tasks, whilst you will not have to clean the washrooms, you will be providing the following services:
- Changing over sanitary bins in female washrooms.
- Refilling soap and air fresheners and sanitiser products.
- Maintain first aid kits to meet WHS regulations.
- Conduct regular service visits to businesses.
- Installation, service and maintenance of services.
- Provide a high level of customer service.
- Maintain health and safety procedures and ensure adherence at all times.
To be successful you will need the following:
- Willingness to get your General pest licence – we will support you to get qualified, so learn while you earn!
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Vaccinated against COVID-19 as it is a client requirement.
- Understanding of hygiene servicing and/or first aid requirements is favourable.
- The ability to work unsupervised and meet set workload.
- A preference for varied workload, being on the road, and meeting different people every day in all types of situations.
- Physically fit.
- Excellent time management, communication and customer service skills.
