The Role
This is a trainee position that will quickly become a full-function Recruiter role where you’ll be meeting with Accounting professionals across various functions whilst working to fill active vacancies. Your role will include but won’t be limited to:
- Building and maintaining your own portfolio of hiring managers and job seekers
- Working on multiple job vacancies at any one time
- Providing a consultative service to hiring managers to match appropriate talent
- Interviewing candidates looking for jobs
- Using various online tools to search for appropriate candidates
- Building mutually beneficial relationships with clients and candidates
- Inviting current and new clients to business events
- Offering market insights, salary guidance, or any consultative services that will add value to your network
- Writing job ads to attract candidates for active roles
- Assisting candidates with interview preparation, CV writing and more general advice to add value to their experience
- Facilitating job offers between hiring managers and job seekers
- Assisting candidates in making appropriate career decisions that align with their aspirations
Your Background
We are primarily looking to speak with candidates who are looking to enter the world of recruitment who have a genuine passion for building relationships and enjoy working with others.
- You will have a growth mindset. A successful recruiter recognises that what you ‘put in’ typically directly correlates with what you get out. I.e. if you are dedicated to learning, improving yourself, working hard, and being the best you can be, the results will follow.
- A commitment to your previous roles will be viewed favourably as we are looking for a team member who wants to grow with us long term and make recruitment their career.
- You will have a real sense of get-up and go coupled with proven examples of being tenacious in order to achieve goals.
- We are looking for engaging individuals with a strong customer focus, a determination to make a positive difference and an enthusiasm for delivering quality work - all whilst having a lot of fun along the way!
- Prior experience working in a customer facing / customer service role is a pre-requisite as are exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities (both written and verbal).
