Are you ready to expand your horizon and commence a Road Train Driver career in the mining and resources sector? By completing our structured training program you will learn practical skills and gain “live mining” environment experiences with MLG OZ to allow you to then operate at one of our multiple sites across Western Australia.
These Full Time paid training positions commence in April 2024 and is now open for suitable candidates to apply who will be invited to attend an information and recruitment day on Friday the 8th of March 2024.
Upon successful completion of your paid training, you will continue your Road Train Driver career at one of our multiple operations across Western Australia.
The Opportunity
These positions are for people who hold a valid HC/ MC Drivers Licence. We are looking for career orientated Employees who want to be part of an expanding business, offering a friendly workplace with a solid commitment to providing a “safety first” led work environment.
This Trainee Road Train Driver Program will be a paid structured training program which will provide you with the knowledge, on the job training from our professional Trainers and Operators, to join the team and work in the Mining and Resources sector.

Minimum requirements to apply
- Current Heavy or Multi-Combination (HC/MC) Drivers Licence [essential]
- National Police Clearance within 12 months
- Flexible for both day and night shifts
- Possess full Rights to Work in Australia
- You will be required to complete a full functional pre-employment medical + commercial drivers medical and drug & alcohol screening
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environment
- Safe and reliable operator
- Ability to work autonomously using a proactive approach to task resolution
