The team at Prime Intervention are seeking a compassionate people-person interested in assisting Speech Pathologists!

ABOUT THE BUSINESS

Prime Intervention is a growing, specialist intervention centre for children from preprimary to year 12 and beyond with learning difficulties and additional needs. We cover all aspects of intervention including literacy, maths, speech and daily living skills. They have two centres at present, one in Ellenbrook and one in Joondalup

All children and young adults have one to one sessions and have an individually designed program.

Prime Intervention are highly respected in their field and have gained a good reputation amongst parents, schools, schools psychologists, private psychologists and other related professionals.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The successful candidate will be enrolled to complete a Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance being supported by Prime Intervention and a nominated Registered Training Organisation (RTO).

You will assist speech pathologist, teachers, and other staff in carrying out programs. The chosen candidate will gain valuable experience in how to work with neurodiverse people and children.

  • Formal qualifications highly regarded, but not essential

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

  • Must have a driver's license
  • Must be willing to work between the two centres during the working week
  • Availability to work beyond school hours when required
  • Good command of English
  • Have a Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain
  • Have a National Police Clearance, or ability to obtain
