Job Description:
We are seeking an eager, hands-on, energetic, and dedicated Trainee Stockperson to join our team at the Dubbo Meat Processing Facility. As a Trainee Stockperson, you will play a crucial role in handling livestock in our lairages and stockyards, ensuring the smooth flow of operations and adherence to animal welfare standards.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Livestock movement and directing stock into the race.
- Assisting with receivals of stock and unloading of trucks.
- Assisting with livestock documentation.
- Ensuring compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and Animal Welfare regulations.
Key Requirements:
- Ability to work onsite full time.
- Willingness to learn.
- Previous experience working with livestock/animal handing is desirable, but not required.
- Working dogs are not required.
