As a Trainee Editor, you'll have the chance to work alongside experienced professionals and receive focused mentorship to help you grow and develop your skills. This role offers the flexibility and autonomy to make it your own, allowing you to expand your knowledge and take on new challenges.
Key responsibilities include:
- Organising project files and managing data
- Logging footage and assets for seamless workflow
- Identifying the best takes and creating compelling footage reels
- Offline editing to bring stories to life
- Enhancing projects with basic audio treatment and mixing
- Applying basic colour balance using DaVinci Resolve
- Creating simple 2D assets in Illustrator
- Animating 2D elements and text using After Effects
To excel in this role, you should have intermediate skills in Premiere Pro and a beginner's understanding of After Effects, Illustrator, DaVinci Resolve, and Audition. We offer flexible part-time hours, with an average of 2 days per week, adjusting based on current project demands. All applicants will need to be local to the Atherton Tablelands and willing to commute to Atherton.
