Video Editor (Part-Time Casual) - Coolum Beach Office

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and self-sufficient Video Editor to join our team in Coolum Beach on a part-time casual basis (2-3 days per week). This is a great opportunity for both experienced editors and students looking to gain valuable industry experience.

Responsibilities:

• Edit and assemble long-form video content (online course modules, educational pieces) and short-form social media videos.
• Apply strong storytelling techniques to create engaging and informative videos.
• Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere Pro and After Effects, to achieve the desired visual style.
• Collaborate with the team to understand project goals and editing requirements.
• Independently manage workflow and meet deadlines efficiently.
• Maintain a high standard of quality and consistency in all video edits.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong experience in video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects is a plus.
• Excellent understanding of storytelling techniques and pacing.
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating visually compelling content. A creative mind with the ability to capture videography and photography is highly beneficial.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive and collaborative work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Open to experienced editors or students with a strong editing portfolio.
• The ability to work on multiple brands and styles.
