About the position
The Traineeship Coordinator takes primary responsibility for oversight of the traineeship program and the trainees employed by YSAS whilst working collaboratively with leadership groups across the South East and the Project Manager (AOD Regional Manager, South East).
The Traineeship Coordinator will work to ensure best-practice competency-based learning, supervision and coaching are provided to the trainees throughout the life of the project. The Project Coordinator is required to ensure that trainees participate in a range of educational activities (internal and external) and have exposure to a range of AOD service types as part of their learning experience.
The role will also be required to participate in project based Community of Practice and advocate as required to ensure that trainees are provided with appropriate educational/learning opportunities.
Some of your key responsibilities will be:

Provide timely feedback to the Regional Manager regarding key issues for the project.
Participation in evaluation and ongoing monitoring of the programs, services, and systems, including clients where appropriate.
Provide highest ethical standards at YSAS; not only to young people in the communities we serve, but to our co-workers and ourselves.
