Trainer And Assessor (Fns) - Nsw

Rosewood International College is a rapidly growing Registered Training Organisation (RTO), delivering a range of nationally recognised courses to international students. We currently have one campus in Sydney and have plan to expand to other capital cities in Australia in 2024.

We are currently seeking passionate and experienced Trainers and Assessors, to join our academic team, at our Sydney campus. 

The successful applicant(s) will be able to deliver:

• FNS40222 Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping
• FNS50222 Diploma of Accounting
• FNS60222 Advanced Diploma of Accounting

Note: We are looking for both casual and contractor trainers and Assessors. 

Responsibilities will include:

• Deliver quality training and assessment in the FNS40222 Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping and/or FNS50222 Diploma of Accounting and/or FNS60222 Advanced Diploma of Accounting
• Monitor and document students' attendance and course progress.
• Provide timely reports to the management, indicating progress and risk issues relating to the course and/or students.
• Participation in moderation and validation processes.

Essential Skills & Experience

You MUST be able to demonstrate:

• High-level written and oral communication skills.
• Minimum 3 years verifiable recent experience working in the hospitality industry – preferably at a supervisor level.
• Experience in assessment validation and moderation practices.
• Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills with an ability to prioritise and manage own workload, meet deadlines (KPIs), and adapt to changing circumstances in accordance with organisation's policies and processes.
• Demonstrated ability to work remotely, without direct supervision.
• Able to demonstrate teaching skills that employ a range of teaching techniques and resources that engage and motivate students.
• An ability to build supportive relationships with students.
• Moderate computer literacy (MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Experience with aXcelerate is preferred.
• Experience with MYOB is preferred.
