About the opportunity:
Asset Training is growing and through our strategic partnerships we offer our specialised training is facilities in Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney & Newcastle. You will play a vital role in building meaningful business connections within the industry and deliver training to groups no larger than 10 for the skill sets and units of competency currently on scope. Our speciality lies in short courses with the longest course we offer spanning 4 days face to face.
You will be responsible for delivering training at any one of our training facilities either in Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, Newcastle or onsite throughout Australia or New Zealand. Training is generally delivered during office hours Monday to Friday with the requirement for weekend travel and/or training with prior consultation and notice.
About you:
- You will hold current Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122, TAE40116, or TAE40110 with required up-skill units of competency TAEASS502 and TAELLN411/TAELLN401A)
- Have current knowledge, skills and experience in the VET sector
- Minimum 2 years of experience delivering vocational or workplace training packages
- You will have a current drivers license, your own reliable transport.
- You will have (or ability to readily obtain) a Working with Children check and National Police Check.
- Conduct and complete all assessment documentation according to organisational policies and procedures as well as the requirements of the Standards for Registered Training Organisations 2015.
The successful applicant would be beneficial to have:
- Experience in providing onsite training to a diverse range of students and cohorts.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in vocational education and training.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and understanding of the function of Training Packages.
- Working knowledge of the role of ASQA, and other relevant industry governing bodies.
- Relevant Industrial Services, Wastewater Management and/or Plumbing industry experience and/or knowledge – Highly regarded.
- Experience delivering safety training such as White Card, Working at Heights, First Aid and/or Confined Space – Highly regarded.
